The Little Pickle
Personal, modern, inclusive
This small neighborhood restaurant and wine bar is not very old. Yet, it’s at the forefront of addressing issues linked to sustainability. Maybe that newness is the reason why. We are particularly impressed by the attitude towards the employees, which feels both personal, modern, and inclusive. The organization is flat, and everyone gets to participate and make suggestions that affect everything from individual employees to the restaurant as a whole. Here, satisfaction is a priority, and, of course, it’s the kind characterized by excellent and well-made food and drink. And that’s exactly what we get here.
Summary:
• Prioritizes local ingredients in season
• Pickles and ferments many of the summer vegetables to serve them in the winter
• Offers a large selection of natural wines
• Maintains a family-like, homey atmosphere
