Kline
Intensive love
After two months as a pop-up restaurant, Kline finally opened the doors to their permanent address. Despite this newly fixed position, it still feels like a fluid project — like a joyful experiment where a group of passionate, dedicated friends see what it’s like to run a restaurant. We cannot imagine better conditions; it feels both alive and avant-garde. The curious guest can learn a lot from the knowledgeable and generous staff, who are happy to explain the ingredients, soil, farmers, winegrowers, and decor, as well as the thinking behind both the food and drink. The venue is small, bare, hard, and industrial, which somehow perfectly complements the warm and pleasant reception.
Summary:
• Curious and engaging without being pretentious
• Focuses on local products from smaller suppliers
• Only natural and biodynamic wines
• 100 percent of the beer comes from microbreweries
