Bubala
Colorful, genuine, and empathetic
First opened in Spitalfields and most recently in Soho, this new sister restaurant is also passionate about food from the Middle East with generous, colorful dishes such as skewers, baba ganoush, falafel, burnt butter-hummus and smoked Jerusalem artichokes. Although Bubala excludes both meat and seafood, it’s not the sustainability of the ingredients or the cooking that impresses us the most but the treatment of the staff. Here, everyone is in the same boat and shares the same ambitions and long-term goals.
