District 3 in Zurich has become a favorite spot for new restaurants in the city. The founders of Silex opened a restaurant they felt was missing, with simple, nature-driven cooking and ingredients with a clear origin. “Relationships with suppliers are about mutual exchange: We help our farmers when they need us, whether it’s dealing with abundance or items close to expiration. In our kitchen, there’s plenty of opportunity to store and preserve.”
