At this modest yet ambitious tavern in the El Poble-Sec neighborhood, they serve colorful, plant-heavy dishes based on recipes from northeastern Spain. The impressive craftsmanship conjures the best out of each ingredient without making it complicated. Like many restaurants in Catalonia, water shortages and droughts have created issues for Taberna Noroeste. The menu has been reworked and adapted to allow the continued use of locally sourced ingredients.
