With the spectacular scenery of Northern Finland as their backdrop, Finnish Johanna Mourujärvi and Briton Connor Laybourne invite us to indulge in a personal and utterly sustainable dining experience at the restaurant’s new location, in the village of Ruka. Although the outside temperature may be harsh, the atmosphere at Tapio is always warm and welcoming. The set menu, noted for its creativity and harmonious flavours, is based on local, wild ingredients and is perfectly framed by natural wines and local beers.
