The old is the new new
No one will enter this restaurant without understanding the origin of its name. A painting by Kaj Stevvall, featuring his own illustration of Donald Duck, has been left on the walls since the owners took over the space, and much else in the restaurant remains unchanged. The tableware reflects personality and history, adding character to the atmosphere. The dining area blends with the kitchen, and guests can’t help but pass through it at some point during their meal. The ingredients are treated with respect, sourced from Finnish producers—whether grown, foraged, or hunted. Each dish is carefully composed, with every element serving a clear purpose in its creation.
