Wine bar with gastronomic ambitions
According to executive chef Eric Barnes Prieto, Oocker follows five principles: simple, seasonal, affordable, different, and creative. And that fits well with our opinion of this small, personal, and welcoming restaurant in the middle of Amsterdam. The menu feels creative but small. Dishes are beautiful and ingredient-focused, often with a nod to the chef’s native Spain. The wine list is wide with wines from both the old and new world, very small-scale but also larger and more well-known producers.
