New, knowledgeable, and talented
The paint was barely dry, the lights weren’t all up, and Koer still had that new restaurant smell when the 360°Eat Guide visited in November 2023. Fortunately, the chefs in the kitchen were plenty warmed up. After competing in 2022’s Chef of the Year in Germany, Paul Decker decided to start his own restaurant, which today feels like the right decision! At Koer, they serve innovative dishes with high flavors, beautifully presented by knowledgeable staff. Here, the farmers decide on the ingredients, and the kitchen adapts to cooking with what’s at hand, not the other way around.
