Cool but caring
“Naked wine and seasonal food” is the promise of this über-hip Berlin bistro cum nerdy natural wine bar. The food is pretty naked too; each dish centered around a few perfectly prepared ingredients, often served with a refreshing couldn’t care less-attitude; a dollop of this, a tangle of that, with plenty of umami to boot. When it comes to sustainability, there is nothing careless about JAJA. The hyper-seasonal menu, for instance, features produce from the restaurant’s own farm. The kind of place that has fans rather than visitors.
