The not-so-secret garden
Apart from the dining experience of Grace & Savour, to which we will return shortly, this 45-acre estate and hotel boasts a walled vegetable garden, a cookery school, a bakery and a second, slightly more down-to earth restaurant. The tasting menu, served from an open kitchen, pays homage to British produce, with the vast majority coming from organic, biodynamic or regenerative farms. A fifteen-course feast for the eyes and palate, presented by staff that genuinely understand their mission – and their value.
