Pastoral perfection
Few places will connect food to nature better than the Crocadon, who describe themselves as “a soil-centric farm with a restaurant at its heart”. A 120-hectare, organic farm surrounds the restaurant, including sheep and a vegetable section large enough to supply both the kitchen and a number of London establishments. The décor in the old, restored barn is pure and simple, and the food so stylish that you could frame it – but then you would miss out on Dan Cox’ exquisite, product-driven cooking, bringing out deep and harmonious flavours.
