The best of Britain
In a historical setting – this is an old, transformed pub – we indulge in a 10-course menu bringing together some of the best produce that Britain has to offer, this particular day. The huge, marble countertop has room for sixteen guests and from there, the kitchen is on full display, while producing one bold serving after another. Owner Joe Laker stresses that this is a community act, performed by staff who get to enjoy relatively short working weeks, along with perks such as monthly opportunities for junior chefs to create their own menu.
