With the heart in the right place
The name Camionette is an amalgamation of “Camion” (a portmanteau of the founders’ names, Camille and Boqion) and “ette” (a reference to finesse and fine dining). All animals have been eliminated from the menu. The plate instead reflects what the plant kingdom has to offer at that moment. This is easy fine dining with its heart in the right place. The relationships with the local producers are strong, and together, they help to make use of the ingredients to reduce the producers’ food waste as well.
