At Café de Ceuvel, food is a way to build connection and community. Set within a circular urban project on Amsterdam’s waterfront, the restaurant grew from an experiment in sustainable city living. Vegetarian menus are shaped by donated produce, while inclusion guides everything from flat hierarchies to daily culture. Beyond the kitchen, Café de Ceuvel hosts talks, supports grassroots initiatives and runs a community soup kitchen; using food as a tool for positive change.
