From wine bar to restaurant
Brothers Max and Stefano Colombo have witnessed their simple bar concept, where natural wines received all the attention and food played a supporting role, transform into what is now a true restaurant. Located in a part of Barcelona that’s teeming with tourists, the diners and staff tend to be an international crowd. Bar Brutal is also often busy, with guests waiting in a queue to be seated. The simple menu is well-prepared with a focus on seafood. While always seeking high-quality seasonal produce, the restaurant also embraces less noble cuts, aligning with their sustainable ethos.
