A haven in central Berlin
A four-day workweek for the entire team, flat hierarchies and a culture where mistakes are seen as opportunities to learn – such is the environment for the lucky staff at Aerde. The Berlin-based restaurant is small-scale in every respect; the venue is rustic and intimate, with a gastronomy based on produce from local farms and woods, resulting in a short but well-composed list of sharing-style dishes, often featuring fermented elements and unexpected ingredients.
Sustainability highlights
- 80 percent of produce is locally sourced, ensuring transparency and strong producer relationships
- Wines come from small European natural producers, with all alcohol-free pairings made in-house
- All ceramics and plates are crafted locally in Berlin to support regional artisans
