Only 16 guests are welcomed each evening at the family-owned restaurant, Maison, in the small village of Wrecclesham. The lucky diners are treated to a tasting menu made with local ingredients, each carrying its own purpose and story. Here, in the borderland between a restaurant and a private home, you’re offered simple yet refined cooking that revolves entirely around what the seasons have to offer.
Sustainability highlights
- Built the restaurant themselves, using mainly secondhand and re-used materials and furniture
- Furniture left in the building has been upcycled and reused
- English wines and spirits are promoted
