German pub fare
The gorgeous 19th century building of Ei-12437-B, boasting its own beer garden, is located in the middle of the Plänterwald. After strolling through the woods, past the abandoned and somewhat ghostly old amusement park, we feast on elevated versions of German classics such as bratwurst, sauerkraut and potato salad, safe in the knowledge that every dish has been produced with the utmost care for the environment – from the choice of local produce to the way the staff is treated. A must.
Sustainability highlights
- Producers get a lot of attention
- Nose-to-tail gastronomy
- The menu is kept short to avoid food waste
- A handbook for employees is planned
