Celebrating diversity
The extended family of Amigo not only includes sustainable farmers and fishermen of the surrounding Ghent region, but also craftspeople and artists. Even the restaurant’s own “mixtapes”, to be enjoyed while sharing a bunch of colourful dishes, have been compiled by local music-lovers. The menu displays a flavour-packed fusion of Middle Eastern and Latin American, featuring highlights like “tequila kissed mussels” – plus a rare ability to minimize food waste in an utterly creative manner.
