Characterful with a fresh burst of energy
The cooking is inspired and energetic at this Amsterdam watering hole, sharing its location – a historic building originally used as a staff canteen for the Dutch Shipbuilding Company – with an artisan sourdough bakery. The set menu, flanked by an ever-changing array of à la carte dishes, does include some meat and fish, but the emphasis is on freshly picked, local vegetables, herbs and flowers. Wines are generally biodynamic and natural, and can be enjoyed on the restaurant’s own terrace, weather permitting.
