Elevating Amsterdam’s sustainable food scene
De Badcuyp, meaning ”bathtub” in Dutch, has only been around since 2024 but quickly become a favourite with young, food-curious locals. The young team behind the restaurant have already achieved a star-studded resumé, yet the vibe reflects the location – we’re at the lively Albert Cuyp market – as does the food, perhaps best described as “effortless Mediterranean”, with a range of carefully selected wines to match. And whether fish, meat or vegetable, the dishes are based on local, responsibly sourced produce and ideal to share.
