Visit the region of
Halland
From the forest-clad ridges inland, through the slopes down to the sandy soils near the sea, Halland can be seen in many different angles. However, anyone looking to truly capture the essence of Halland will inevitably find themselves discussing its restaurants, cafés, pizzerias, wineries, and bakeries. Today, Halland is considered one of Sweden’s most exciting gastronomic regions. It has everything needed for success; the producers who grow the ingredients, the artisans who refine them, and the chefs who prepare and serve them. Most importantly, there is a strong culture of collaboration, innovation, and a commitment to long-term development within the restaurant industry. This is a selection of the most transparent and sustainable restaurants, cafés, and bakeries in Halland for 2025

Feldts på Skolberget
In an old schoolhouse in the countryside, My Feldt has created her own colorful world. Enjoy buns, pastries, sausages, ice cream, and hearty lunches. Organic and seasonal ingredients are key at Feldt’s place, making it a highly recommended visit. It’s personal, educational, and truly unique.

In an old, abandoned church school across from Snöstorp Church, often considered Sweden’s most beautiful church, lies Inez & Greta, a café and artisan bakery that values old Swedish traditions. They offer rolls, buns, breads, pastries, as well as breakfast and simple lunches. It’s a peaceful, homely spot with incredibly delicious offerings.
