Brat

Not as simple as it looks
From a discreet gate down the street, guests make their way up a steep, narrow staircase to Brat. Here, you’re welcomed into a dining room that, in our opinion, is one of London’s most beautiful. It’s a study of industrial charm that mixes brick, stone, glass, and wood. Large windows let in lots of light while the chefs in an open kitchen grill over an open fire. The staff is both cheerful and attentive. It feels familiar and welcoming. The name comes from the Old English word for turbot. The house specialty features the flatfish grilled whole in a basket. This Basque-inspired, wood-fired grill restaurant creates meals made from first-class ingredients and prepared with a lot of heart and soul.
