Honest food in a welcoming environment
If you spot a Cargo Bike filled with soil-sprinkled vegetables in the streets of Brugge, chances are it’s heading in the direction of restaurant Jacobin, which also happens to sport a separate bar with many, hand-picked natural wines on offer. Sparsely decorated yet welcoming, this place is a little like an extended family that includes staff, producers and regulars; the latter being able to feast on moderately priced sharing dishes like aubergine with hummus or several different versions of sustainable oysters and mussels.
